Robert Smith-Hald

Singer/Songwriter

Release 25 April Kalfarbrygeriet Bergen

Release 1 Mai Madam Felle Bergen

"Now, there are many millions who in their sects and churches who feel the order, 'Do thou,' and throw their weight into obedience.
And there are millions more who feel predestination in 'Thou shalt.' Nothing they may do can interfere with what will be.
But 'Thou mayest'! Why, that makes a man great, that gives him stature with the gods, for in his weakness and his filth
and his murder of his brother he has still the great choice. He can choose his course and fight it through and win...
And I feel I am a man. And I feel that a man is a very important thing - maybe more important than a star.
This is not theology. I have no bent towards the gods. But I have a new love for that glittering instrument, the human soul.
It is a lovely and unique thing in the universe. It is always attacked and never destroyed - because 'Thou mayest.'"...

 John Steinbeck

Thou Mayest is all about being free..... Instead of life being predestined: Thou shalt, it's all about being free: Thou Mayest

It's been busy! July was consumed mostly with Norwegian artist
Robert Smith-Hald, tracking his new album at 16 Ton Studios in Nashville, TN
with studio musicians
Paul Griffith, Tim Marks, with later overdubs by Fats Kaplin  and Reese Wynans, and vocal work with
Angela Primm, Gayle Mayes, Lisa Torres, and Stephanie Lambring.
