The Band

Robert writes the songs, sings lead vocal, plays acoustic guitar and harmonica. Robert is accompanied by some of the best musicians in Bergen. Most of them are from a tiny little water hole in the desert of fjords called Fusa.  It's a beautiful place, and there must be something in the water, since it turns out so many great musicians.  It started out as a joke, but the name stuck- the band is called Fusa's Finest.  Starting with the folks from Fusa, the line-up is Tom Riise on drums and percussion, Ole Gunnar Eikeland on bass, electric and double acoustic bass and baritone guitar as well as some beautiful backing vocals that somehow seem to make a helluva lot of overtones that nobody  can seem to pinpoint.  (we figured out in studio that it was his voice together with Roberts).  Also from Fusa we have Vegard Henanger, AKA $parky.  He plays anything with strings really.  He plays rythm and lead electric guitar, and mandolin and steel guitar, and National Steel when the spirit moves him.  He just bought a pedal steel as well, and is busy tangling up elbows and knees to learn to play it.  The only one not from Fusa (besides Robert..) is Ole Rasmus Hjelle, AKA Jefus.  He once visited Fusa twice in one day though, so he has been granted asylum of sorts.  He plays some kick ass rythm and lead guitar, and is the main lead guitar player in the band.  He also plays acoustic guitar, and sings background vocals.
